Elizabeth Cline
Chicago Humanities Festival, 2015.

Elizabeth Cline is a dynamic and personable speaker invited to speak year-round about fast fashion and the themes in her book Overdressed. Through her tailor-made presentations, she describes and inspires audiences to better understand how fashion impacts the world and how we can each help to create a more ethical, sustainable fashion industry. She’s given intimate talks to classrooms of a dozen students to corporate events attended by hundreds.

Cline has given more than 60+ speeches since 2012. Clients range from corporate and trade groups to city governments, universities and secondary schools. Topics can be tailor-fitted to your needs and range from a fast fashion primer to tips for ethical consumption, as well as more nuanced talks on textile waste and emerging sustainable fashion technology.

Past clients include Chicago Humanities Festival, Fashion Institute of Technology, Parsons, Pratt Brooklyn Fashion  + Design Accelerator, Boston College, Albright College, The Ursuline School, American Apparel and Footwear Association and the Kansas City Mid-America Regional Council.
